We are seeking a talented individual with the ability to work, both independently in a self-directed manner, as well as collaboratively with team members. The candidate should be flexible, be comfortable operating with transparency, multi-tasking, meeting deadlines, and prioritize among multiple projects. Additionally, the ideal candidate must be able to maintain professional and positive interactions with others and be able to establish professional relationships and credibility with all internal and external contacts. The candidate must be comfortable working in an open office environment communicating with all staff members.
Bookkeeper / Office ManagerJob Responsibilities:
  • Client invoicing – creation, organization and communication
  • Track receivables
  • Manage payables
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Manage payroll
  • 1099s
Bookkeeper / Office Manager HR Responsibilities:
  • Maintain personnel files
  • New hire on-boarding
  • Employee termination off-boarding
  • Monthly staff expense reimbursement
  • Monthly health expense reimbursement
  • Health insurance
  • Disability insurance
  • Monitor and upkeep of vacation/sick days
  • 401K – distributions, year end numbers/census, January packet
  • H1B visa/green card – organization and work with outside attorney
  • Employee yearly certification & service of process forms
Bookkeeper / Office Manager Administrative Responsibilities:
  • Maintain stock of office, kitchen and equipment supplies
  • Manage insurance audits
  • Work with the firm accountant on the economic census and year end taxes
  • Open mail and distribute appropriately
  • Track client and vendor contract status
Bookkeeper / Office Manager Qualifications:
  • QuickBooks expertise is a must
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Experience with a variety of computer software applications in maintaining calendars, word processing, spreadsheets (MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing tasks and demands
Salary: $50,000.00 to $70,000.00 /year
